| Ernest Voyard joined KLR as a legal recruiter in 2005 after working as a regulatory counsel at the Food and Drug Administration and as an associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Through his prior experiences practicing law in the government and private practice, Ernest is able to offer candidates a unique perspective on the legal community. Ernest received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2000. He received is B.A. in History and a certificate in Education from Duke University in 1997. While attending Duke, Ernest was also a student teacher at Northern High School in Durham, NC, where he taught a variety of subjects including social studies and geography. Ernest is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the state of Florida. Outside of recruiting, Ernest enjoys playing basketball in several leagues in the DC area.
